Remodelling garments with care

We work with dresses, skirts, shirts, jackets, and other garments that need a better fit, a refreshed shape, or a more wearable finish. Each project starts with a careful review of the fabric, construction, and condition so the work can be planned realistically.

Our approach is practical and creative. We look for ways to reuse strong parts of the original garment, match available materials where possible, and shape the result around what the fabric can support.

What we value

How we work

Needle Craft combines tailoring skill with a measured remodelling process, so each piece is handled with clarity from the first review to the final check.

01

Careful assessment

Every project begins with an assessment of the garment and its materials. That helps us explain what can be changed, what should be preserved, and where the fabric may set limits on the final result.

02

Responsible reuse

We favour redesign choices that make good use of the original garment. When suitable, we reuse strong sections, match thread or trims where available, and shape the work around the fabric already in hand.

03

Practical fitting

Fit matters, but so does honesty about construction. We review the garment again at collection and handle small final adjustments carefully without changing the agreed design.

04

Made to keep wearing

Our workshop supports customers who want to keep meaningful clothing in use. That includes vintage pieces, sentimental garments, and items that are better reworked than replaced.

Our story

A studio built on reuse

Founded by Parveen Ghosh, the studio was built around thoughtful redesign, careful fitting, and responsible reuse.

Needle Craft began with a simple idea: well-made garments deserve a second life when they no longer fit the way they should. Since then, the studio has focused on remodelling and alterations that respect the original piece while making it more useful again.

From the first inquiry to collection, each step is handled with clear communication. Garments are assessed before a quote is prepared, and design approval is part of the process for redesign work.

The result is clothing that feels considered, practical, and ready to be worn again rather than replaced.
